Vol. 3 bound in black with lettering in gilt, dust jacket.

The first two volumes were published in 1929 & 1930, while volume three is a high quality photographic reprint. These three volumes are remarkable reminders of the past glory of the Khmer Empire from about 800 AD to late 1,200 AD, when invasions from Thailand eventually forced the relocation of the capital to Phnom Penh during the 15th Century. The Angkor Wat site is now designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, these volumes will remain to chronicle the site as it was in the 1920s.
