Description:

2 sheets and 2/3 of a 3rd sheet only, of 4 sheets. Copper-engraved map, hand-colored. Comprises the southwest quarter of the 4-sheet map (51.5x48.5 cm.); the northeast quarter (50.5x48.5 cm. ); and the upper 2/3 or so of the southeast quarter (36.5x48.5 cm.), which contains all of the title and imprint but the engraving below it is excised.

Lotter's publication of Thomas Jeffery's four-sheet map of New England, including Long Island and New York City. This is only a bit more than half of the map in total.

Condition:

Some edge wear and soiling, good, sold as is.
