26 pp. Wood-engraved frontispiece. 22x15 cm. (8¾x6"), original engraved wrappers, in custom half morocco slipcase and chemise. Second Edition.

Scarce, early Arizona promotional embracing Maricopa, Yuma, Pima, Cochise and Graham counties, with considerable information on Phoenix. OCLC/WorldCat lists only seven copies of this second edition, and none of the first; Howes K146 makes note of only one edition, dated 1887, with title given as simply "Southern Arizona," with 26 pages as this second edition.

Condition:

Some staining to both the wrappers and contents at corners and gutters; still very good.
