Illustrated with folding map frontispiece, 2 folding reproductions of lithographs, 1 facsimile map, and from photographs. 31.6x21.5 cm. (12½x8½"), red morocco backed marbled boards. No. 3 from a total limitation of 250. One of 25 copies thus bound for presentation.

Presentation copy from the author, inscribed and signed by Robert Evelyn Holmes on the front free endpaper. History of the Sonora region, including reminiscences of individuals who had lived there in the 1850's and '60's, recorded in 1925. GB 140; Howes H614.

Condition:

Spine lightly sunned and rubbed; fore edge of leaves very lightly foxed; else fine.
