Bankers box containing several hundred book announcements, mailing pieces, miscellaneous printed ephemera, publishers catalogues etc. announcing poetry books and broadsides published mostly in the 1970’s. These were all mailed to The Tenth Muse, Julia Newman’s book shop in San Francisco, a specialist in the avant garde literature of the period.. Printed pieces include material from Serendipity Books distribution, Black Sparrow Press, Book People, Coach House Press, Capricorn Press, City Lights, Enitharmon, Elizabeth Press, Gotham Book Mart, Interim Press, Kayak, Unicorn Press and many others.
