A magnificent collection of views of Yosemite including many images of the various peaks, valleys, waterfalls, landscapes, etc. Also several images of park structures including one showing a steel truss bridge with wood road surface bearing a sign reading "$25.00 fine for crossing this bridge faster than a walk."; two images of a tunnel through the base of a tree; a view of the cabin of Adolph Sinning with roof mounted signs reading "Art Worker in All Fine Yosemite Woods" a bearded gentleman, presumably Sinning himself, standing in the foreground; a superb image of a tourist party seated on and standing before a horse-drawn stage of the Mt. Hamilton Stage Co., a waterfall in the background; a young Indian woman next to her horse; three men, with rifles and a pack-mule wear a sign proclaiming "Yosemite or Bust"; two images of 3 men seated atop a high point with half-dome in the distance. A few of the photographs are identified in pencil on the rear including: Sentinel, View from Union Point, Cathedral Rocks, Eagle Peak View, and Grizzly Giant. A remarkable collection of photographs, the photographer unfortunately unidentified.
