Includes chapters on "Sonora and the Apache Country"; "Feasts and Festivals"; "Palenque and the Phanton City"; "Uxmal the Ruined City"; "Along the Rio Grande Valley"; "The Mexican Railway Movement"; "Popocatapetl"; "City of Mexico"; "Mexicans at Home", etc. Ober spent three years traveling in Mexico, traversing over twenty-five thousand miles by sea and land.
