First Edition, posthumously published, of Verlaine's final collection of poems. The fifteen poems in this volume center on homosexual love and were intended as a companion piece to Verlaine's "Femmes" (1890). The final poem in the collection, 'Sonnet du trou-du-cul', was written in collaboration with Arthur Rimbaud. Rare.
