Text in two columns. (folio) 37.4x24.5 cm. (14¾x9¾"), tipped to backing on which is printed a facsimile of the title-page of the Bible from which the leaf came.

A leaf from the preliminary biographical sketch of Luther in the 1574 printing of his Bible; the 1574 edition is of note as the first to contain the spurious clause of the three witnesses inserted in 1 John 5:7.

Condition:

A little edge creasing; very good.
