[46] leaves printed on rectos only, entirely in collotype facsimile. 23x16.3 cm. (9x6½") original printed wrappers. One of a small number of copies.

Rare photographic facsimile of the exquisite illustrated manuscript of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s ‘Sonnets from the Portuguese’, the original, completed in 1897, is among the treasures of the National Library of Scotland.

Condition:

Wrappers chipped, partial cup ring stain on front wrapper, vertical split to spine; a bit of light marginal wear; internally very good.
