Rare proof sheet of the premier production of C.H. St. John Hornby's Ashendene Press, Dante's Divine Comedy, considered one of the three greatest examples of fine press printing along with the Doves Press Bible and the Kelmscott Chaucer. The leaf is quite notable for the inclusion of the rare woodcut - there were only five in the whole volume.
